So, here's the scoop on how the Matriarch became Sir S.
My goal was to take an excellent sculpt (hollow cast version) and not "fix" anything, but just change a few things, keeping the integrity of the original yet, giving it what I hoped, would be an entirely new look. What has been done includes the obvious new mane and tail, in addition to the obvious brand new neck complete w/ wrinkles and a gender reassignment to gelding. Then I shortened his back a bit and moved a front leg back, added a bit to all of the hooves as well as chipping them and making them look less well-kept. He's meant to look semi-feral. Just a dude, hanging out in semi-early retirement in the foothills of the Rockies maybe? Let's forget that he's pretty clean for that circumstance OK? I'm just not a fan of dirtying up a sculpture. But he's still willing-ready and able, to go off and do his master's bidding and won't need a bath first. ;)
Terms: Layaway is available (a.k.a. time-payments) and be happily accepted with at least $500 down initially (within 7 days of auction close) and at least $400 every month by or on anniversary date of auction end (with payments wrapping up within 6 months at the latest). If you need different payment terms, please contact me prior to bidding. I am fairly flexible, but I do have a family budget to consider too. All monies paid though are refundable, even in event of default. Shipping will most likely be through USPS so we can talk about your needs both domestically and internationally to get it there SAFELY (which is my utmost concern) but also at the least possible cost. Cost will be actual shipping costs plus approx. $4 for handling and supplies which includes an incredibly sturdy NEW, double walled box. Overnight is available too and not as much as you might think. I don't trust that eBay shipping calculator either. It's been wrong most of the time so check w/ me. Partial insurance and Delivery Conf. included and required in shipping domestically, international insurance and shipping is negotiable on need. Thanks for looking and good luck if you are bidding! Again, please don't hesitate to ask questions.
